February 11-13, 2019, the Indonesia Ministry of Health was holding an official exhibition about the domestic production of pharmaceutical and medical devices. Simultaneous with Rakerkesnas (Rapat Kerja Kesehatan Nasional – national meeting of government health program), the comprehensive exhibition was fully visited by stakeholders coming from Dinas Kesehatan (Public Health Office), government and private hospital sectors, and other public health services. Based on the annual report from the Indonesia Ministry of Health, Indonesia has an increasing number of medical device products start from 262, 294, 328 varieties in 2016, 2017, and 2018 respectively. This growth may be caused by the increasing unit of national health services in Indonesia.
Taking advantage of the growing market needs, up to 45 local industries coming from both manufacturer and distributor have joined this annual exhibition to their capabilities on filling the market gap.
