Cikarang, November 13, 2019 – Proline celebrated the 8th anniversary and launched the immunology production line, INBIO. Cristina Sandjaja (left), Director of Prodia Diagnostic Line, PT (left), Sodikin Sadek (center), Director of Supervision of Medical Device and Household Health Supplies, Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia, and Andi Wijaya (right), chairman of Prodia Group, reviewed the launch of INBIO’s immunology development and production unit.
On this occasion Proline with Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atmajaya signed a memorandum of understanding in research and production of immunology products for rapid diagnostic test.
Why INBIO and what’s the hope behind it?
Cristina said that the name INBIO itself contains a deep philosophical meaning. IN is referring to Indonesia and BIO comes from the Greek root word of life. “INBIO stands for the innovation of Indonesians which aimed for the improvement of Indonesian quality of life specifically in the health sector,” said Cristina on her speech on the launching of INBIO.
The logo itself is inspired by Proline’s logo. The meeting of the two arrows illustrates the combination of samples and reagents, whether in the form of antibodies or antigens, giving the results of the inspection to the users of INBIO products. The logo itself has the meaning of accuracy as its reference for the product performance and also the hope of moving forward to become a leading and trusted In Vitro Diagnostic industry in Indonesia.
